Three Brothers Trail

Three Brothers is a great ridge hike. It is a good backpacking trip, not over used. You can hike parts of the area as a day hike. It is steep. Three Brothers from Stafford Creek Trail has an elevation gain of 4600 feet. 16 miles roundtrip. Green Trails map-Mount Stuart is a good map for the area.

Driving Directions- U.S. Route 970 north five miles from Interstate 90 at Cle Elum, turn left on Teanaway River Road and follow "North Fork Teanaway" signs about 14 miles to 29 Pines Campground and a junction (end of pavement). Turn right and drive 1-1/2 miles on Road No. 9737 to Stafford Creek Road (No. 9703), turn right and drive and 2.5 miles to the signed trailhead.

The Stafford Creek Trail is a nice trail that follows Stafford Creek and climbs to Navajo Pass at 6,100 feet in 5-1/2 miles. Good Day Hike.
