SUMMARY:This trail climbs gradually through tall timber to small, open meadows. In just over four miles the trail intersects with the Bald Eagle Trail #650 at Curry Gap near the Darrington Ranger District boundary.


TRAILHEAD ACCESS:Drive State Route 2, turn north at the Index turn-off onto the North Fork Skykomish River Road #63. Continue for approximately 19.0 miles to Quartz Creek Trailhead #1050 on the left side of the parking area.

NOTE: At approximately mile 15.7 Road #63 turns sharply north. If you continue traveling east you will be on the #65 road.
