Hiking the Enchantment lakes area near Leavenworth

The Enchantment Lakes are the most
spectacular sites to see.

Alpine lakes in the bowl of fantastic peaks. The hike is not easy but you wont want to miss it. It is located near Leavenworth and Icicle creek. Just an incredible area to hike.

Here is a Map of the area Topo Map

You will need a permit to enter/overnight depending on the time of year. Call the Leavenworth Ranger Station at (509)782-1413 for details.

The trail has over 5000' of elevation gains, most in the beginning and is about 22 miles long. The area is in a wilderness area so access is limited. Only 8 people in a party last time I checked. And a limited number of permits are issued daily. This can be done as a long day trip, but it is tough. Bring lighting in case you run late.
