The Colchuck lake trail leads you into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. A great place to hike. This is a steep area to travel in but it is definitely worth the extra effort. Bring a good trail guide to really check out the sights.

Seasons Open: Summer - Early Fall

Great Day hike in Leavenworth area. The views are excellent, lots of ascent. Good swimming spots along trail.

Take Icicle road for 8.5 miles then left on dirt road 7601 (signs to Colchuck Lake) for 4 miles to trailhead.
