Enjoy emerald-green Dark Mountain meadows. Pass beneath the flat plateau of Table Mountain. Find solitude in this remote setting. Access numerous scenic trails and enjoy extended loop opportunities. Trail Facts:This maintained trail travels along the divide of the Lewis and Cispus River watersheds. Its elevation is 4000 feet or above, ascending and descending out of stream drainages. Considerations:Preserve the high country beauty of this area by following low-impact camping and user methods. Connections: Langille Ridge Trail #259 heads north to Holdaway Butte and out onto Langille Ridge, and McCoy Peak. Juniper Peak Trail #261 goes to Jumbo Peak, Sunrise Peak and Juniper Peak. Quartz Creek Trail #5 heads south to Forest Road 90. Summit Prairie Trail #2 heads south to Forest Road 90. Table Mountain Trail #18 heads south to Forest Road 90. Near Council Lake, Council Bluff Trail #117 climbs to the Bluff's summit.
